Shut the door on negativity.


My friend Candace Jo wrote a post on her blog this morning at http://www.hopeinthehealing.com/2013/12/31/negativity-fast-a-fresh-start/

She is challenging all of her readers to a "negativity fast". And I have decided to accept the challenge.

Bad things happen in this world that we live in. Whether it be on a personal level or an international one, or somewhere in between We are constantly being reminded about them on the news on television, the internet, radio and even our own smart phones.

  But how we respond and talk about them is really what will determine the effect that they have in our lives and the lives of those around us.

I encourage you to read Candace Jo's blog and let me know if you will go on a negativity fast with me.

I want to wish you a very healthy, prosperous and positive 2014.

    Awesome Deb! I love your picture and take on shutting the door!! Thanks for linking to me and taking the challenge. I confess today I have had to smack my mouth a couple of times, lol, nothing bad but it is amazing how much we carelessly and continuously say throughout the day! Or maybe it is just me :(

    The Sweetheart said something to me and I started to respond and caught myself and giggled...I said, "I cannot answer that lest I would be negative!" So he said, "Well then answer it positively!" I couldn't!! LOL! Momma always said, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all..."

    I know I am being silly but on the serious side, I really am taking it serious. I just realized today how many times I say careless and flippant things that can be taken so negative and are UNNECESSARY remarks. Lord, please put a watchman at the door of my mouth!
    Blessings to you friend for joining me in this challenge. I pray it is a lifestyle change for us! Let's spread it around and keep each other accountable.
