the business of living

Wow! Have I been gone for a while!

Sometimes we get so caught up in the busyness of our lives, that we dont stop and enjoy the business of living.   I stopped writing in my blog for a while because I have been caught up in the busyness.  It's time to stop being so busy and start really living.

I read an article this morning written by Arina Nicotina. A Survival Guide for Beating the Busyness In it she points out 15 little ways to stop and smell the flowers (so to speak).  I have already started to do some of them.

Life is so precious.  And it goes by so quickly.  We must remember to enjoy the small treasures as they come along: splashing in the pool with your grandkids, listening to the birds sing, walking barefoot in the grass.  Our Lord loves us so much that even these small moments in our lives are important to Him.  Take the time to thank Him for them, and savor them.

Remember to...

Expect Great things and decide to have an awesome day.

  1. It’s weird that you write this because this morning I read a facbook post by Marks momma that said that her uncle was killed in a car accident yesterday morning on the way to the nursery to pick up flowers for his garden. And when i read that i was thinking that same exact thing. Its so important to live every day as it was your last. You never know when God wants to take us to heaven.

  3. To Tara, as much as i really want to avoid the busyness and live it to the fullest. Sometimes i still let the mundane keep me from the important. Let's make a pact not to let that happen!
To Norizwan, thank you for the good wishes. Hope all goes well in your life as well.
